The veiled mysterious ways revealed
from on-high
enacting the final rehearsal of the final days
when every meaningful action, every purposeful movement
will be consumed by an
ever-
expanding
maze
when compassion will rise as purity fades
when the right hand will build as the left
sets ablaze
when the heart will sin in the very moment it prays
when the mind will comfort
the very smile
it betrays.
